Enjoy cocktails at the Scaramanga Moon & Beach Lounge. Located on the resort’s white, sandy shore, this lounge is as unique as its name. Scaramanga opens from 9am till 11pm. At Scaramanga! Guests relax in hammocks under breezy palms or on plush mattresses beneath cabañas. What’s the meaning of the name, many ask. Cool ocean breezes, sand beneath your feet, tropical drinks and reggae music, all amidst a convivial ambiance – that’s Scaramanga!
La Alhambra
Dine indoors or al fresco at the casual La Alhambra (Breakfast 7am to 11:30am, Lunch 12:30 to 16:30pm, Dinner 6:30 to 10:30pm), adjacent to the lobby. Either way, you’ll savor the ever-changing gourmet buffet and a-la-minute dishes. The menu pleases the palate with everything from salads, sandwiches and pizza to sushi, chicken and roast beef. Calorie-watchers, beware of the dessert bar, with its to-die-for ice cream, pies, cakes and crepes.
La Marina
La Marina (5pm to 9pm), serves up fresh seafood and stunning sunset views overlooking the clear waters of Puerto Morelos Bay. La Marina restaurant serves one dinner per week tour guests at the marina next to the resort. Reservations are required.
La Trattoria di Gulio
La Trattoria di Gulio – New Italian Gourmet Restaurant for breakfast and a la carte dinners, ranging from delectable soups, homemade pastas and oven-brick pizzas, to traditional Italian dishes. The restaurant also offers an extensive selection of over 50 wines from the most distinctive regions of Italy as well as a fresh, classic antipasto bar.
El Alcázar
El Alcázar (6pm to 10:30pm) is a favorite for romantic dinners and special occasions. Located off the lobby, this fusion gourmet restaurant boasts elegant, minimalist décor. Diners enjoy a creative blend of Asian and Mediterranean cuisine. The wine cellar maintains a wide variety (surcharge may apply) of fine wines, including classic favorites and emerging labels from countries around the globe. Reservations are required.
The poolside Hacienda Arrecife
The poolside Hacienda Arrecife (Breakfast 7:30 to 10:30am, Lunch 12pm to 5pm, Dinner 6:30 to 10:30pm ) pairs gourmet Mexican cuisine with generous portions of traditional local decor.
